Instructions for Authors
Papers must report original and unpublished research results. All submissions must be in English and should not exceed 15 pages in length. The deadline for full-paper submissions is:
Each submission will be subject to a rigorous academic review. All papers will be double-blind peer-reviewed and evaluated for:
- Relevance
- Originality
- Technical Quality
- Significance
- Clarity of Presentation
Submissions will also be screened for plagiarism using Turnitin.
Paper Format
All papers must adhere to the official conference template and submission guidelines. Submissions that fail to meet these requirements may be rejected without review.
Review Process
Each submitted paper will be reviewed by at least three experts from the Scientific Committee. The process ensures a high-quality program by evaluating submissions based on:
- Research depth and contribution
- Novelty and innovation
- Practical relevance
- Potential to stimulate academic and industry discussion
- Steps from Submission to Acceptance in a Conference
- Call for Papers (CFP)
The conference publishes a Call for Papers, announcing topics of interest, important dates, and submission guidelines. - Manuscript Preparation
Authors prepare the paper following required format, referencing style, and triple-blind requirements (if applicable). - Submission
Authors submit the paper via the online system (EDAS), upload manuscript, enter metadata, and select track or section. - Initial Check
Conference admin or chairs check formatting compliance, topic match, and run plagiarism screening. - Peer Review
Assigned reviewers evaluate originality, technical quality, relevance, and clarity. Typically 3–4 reviewers per paper. - Review Decision
Based on reviewer scores: Accept, Accept with revisions, or Reject. - Author Notification
Authors receive decision letter, review comments, and camera-ready submission instructions. - Payment
Authors complete the payment (e.g., via MasterCard) as required for acceptance, which is then verified by the section chairs. - Camera-Ready Submission
Authors prepare final version, address comments, and submit final files and agreements. - Registration
At least one author registers for the conference for inclusion in proceedings. - Paper Inclusion in Program
Accepted papers are assigned to oral, poster, or workshop sessions. - Presentation and Publication
Authors present at the conference; papers are published in proceedings and indexed.
Final Step: Submission to F1000Research
Research papers accepted by the reviewers will be resubmitted by the authors to the journal F1000Research. The conference administration will not be responsible for the authors’ failure to address the corrections or revisions required by the journal.
Authorship
Every listed author must take responsibility for the entire content of a paper. Note that changes to the author list after the submission deadline are not allowed.
Publication
All submissions will be blind-reviewed by the Scientific Committee on the basis of technical quality, relevance to conference topics of interest, originality, significance, and clarity.
